Marinias on the lower Chesapeake Bay
There are three marinias on Sarah Creek.The first of which that you will see will be York River Yacht Haven.York River Yacht Haven is a full service marinia as well as a place for doit yourself sailors.Floating docks have been installed through out the marinia. There is a pump out station and fuel dock .There is laundry facilities and a ships store.There is a resturant at the marinia as well as a crab deck.
After passing York River Yacht Haven bear to the left fork of Sarah Creek and you will get to the other two marinias the one on the right side will be GloucesterPoint Marinia and the one on the left will be Jordans Marinia. Jordans has a boat lift as well as a railway. A lot of doit yourselfers at Jordans.
On the other side of the York River next to the power plant at Wormely Creek there is Wormely Creek Marinia located in York County.There is a boat lift and fuel dock. There is a lot of doit yoursefer sailors here as well.
At the mouth of the York River is Perrin Creek and the Marinia there is Cooks Landing Marinia.They have a boat lift and fuel dock.
If you go into Mobjack Bay on the Severn River there is the Severn River Marinia and Holiday Marinia .There is North Marinia on the North River( around the corner from Jim Brown designer of the Searunner Trimarans)Zimmerman Marine is on the East River and Davis Creek Marinia on Davis Creek.
